Professional
Bondsmen
of Tarrant
County |
|
The
members of
the
Professional
Bondsmen
of Tarrant
County
hold a
monthly
meeting on
the first
Wednesday
of the
month. The
Association
was
established
in the
early
‘70’s,
and
several of
our
current
members
have been
active
from the
beginning.
Our
meetings
give us
the
opportunity
to discuss
local,
state,
and,
national
issues
important
to our
ever-changing
industry.
To
learn more
about our
Association,
please
visit our
web-site
at www.probondsmentarrantcounty.com.
The site
will give
information
about the
location
of our
meetings
and
contact
information
for all
members. |

Professional
Bondsmen
of Wichita
County |
|
The
Professional
Bondsmen
of
Wichita
County
was
founded
in
1995
by
a
few
bondsmen
who
understand
the
importance
of
bondsmen
speaking
as
one.
The
PBWC
meets
the
second
Tuesday
of
each
month
at
the
Wichita
Falls
Country
Club. We started slowly and faltered at times, but when faced with
adversity,
we
came
together
as
one.
PBWC
regularly
invites
county
and
city
officials
to
our
meetings.
This
helps
us
understand
the
issues
they
face
and
the
ways
we
can
help
them. It also gives us the opportunity to educate them about the
importance
of
bondsmen
as
a
part
of
the
criminal
justice
system
and
how
they
can
help
us.
We
have
had
many
accomplishments
as
an
association
from
keeping
the
collect
call
rates
down
through
discussions
with
the
county
commissioners
to
helping
the
JP’s
understand
why
surety
bonds
work
when
personal
recognizance
bonds
do
not.
The
local
bondsmen
have
gained
respect
from
these
officials
since
forming
an
active
association.
We
are
a
small
county
with
nine
licensed
bondsmen,
seven
of
which
are
members
of
PBWC,
but
we
still
have
a
strong
voice
in
the
county.
The
PBWC
members
have
become
friends
that
communicate
instead
of
enemies
that
run
each
other
down
and
cut
prices.
To
put
it
plainly,
associations
work
--
even
small
ones.
The
PBWC
offers
our
assistance
to
any
county
that
would
like
to
start
a
local
association. |

The
united
voice of a
few sends
a big
message.
